Becky is Kanga’s Commercial Director, responsible for client financial management and strategic account management as well as Kanga marketing and business development. She also continues to lead digital transformation and capability/education projects for top 10 pharmaceutical companies.
Becky’s career in the pharmaceutical industry started in 1998 with her first role as a medical representative with Servier Laboratories. After several years in sales, which saw her win both Rep of the Year and Territory of the year 3 years running, she moved into the more strategic role of NHS Projects Co-ordinator. The following years saw her move to Eli Lilly & Co, and hold a variety of posts that have allowed her to bring a well-rounded and deep understanding of the industry.
During her time as Brand Manager, Becky successfully launched the new indication of a market leading anti-depressant. This saw her responsible for the strategy, programme development and implementation for sales force and online channels, and included building both a new sales team and successful training course across an inter-company partnership, winning her Lilly’s Marketeer of the Year award.
Shortly after this, she moved into the role of Digital Marketing Lead for the UK Hub, managing a team across 5 countries responsible for the management and execution of all digital activities across multiple channels (including Web & Portal, email, Mobile Apps, Social media and eLearning).
Since joining the Kanga family, Becky has led a number of digital strategy projects for global pharma brands, and has been a leader of broad training and capability initiatives as part of a big pharma digital transformation programme. She continues to operate as a freelance digital consultant.
As a mum to two young boys Becky is kept pretty busy, but she loves to travel whenever she gets the opportunity and has a passion for good wine!
